The Explora Museum is the museum of the State of Guanajuato . It was created in November 1994. This interactive center aims to promote understanding of the world from a scientific perspective.

The Museum of Art and History of Guanajuato was inaugurated on November 27, 2008 and is located in the city of León inserted in the visionary project called Forum Cultural Guanajuato, an institution under the government of the state.

The Sacred Art Gallery-Museum of the City of León is located inside the Basilica Cathedral of Our Blessed Mother of Light, in front of the Consistorial Hall. Triumphal Arch walkway Heroes is made in 1893 to commemorate the 83rd anniversary of the Mexican Independence, the arch is crowned by a bronze lion by the sculptor Humberto Peraza. This arch is the symbol of the city.

The Expiatory Temple of the Sacred Heart of Jesus also known simply as “The Expiatory” is a temple dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus , located in Leon, Guanajuato , Mexico . It has a neogothic style. Its construction began on June 8, 1921 and concluded on March 20, 2012 with the visit of Pope Benedict XVI.

The Plaza Fundadores is an important historical place within the urban fabric of León. It contains a very popular symbol of our city: the Fountain of the Lions.
