Explore Science Center

The Explora Museum The Explora Museum is the museum of the State of Guanajuato . It was created in November 1994. This interactive center aims to promote understanding of the world from a scientific perspective. The initiative of this construction is proposed by the Board of the State Fair of Leon.

Rooms

It has six thematic rooms with exhibits, most of them interactive type. The rooms of Explora Science Center

1. Water Planet. Focused on nature, ecosystems, natural resources and water.
2. Body. They deal with the mechanisms of heredity, gestation and birth, the systems and organs of the human body
3. Communication. The theme in this room focuses on videophones, fiber optics, computers, the Internet, telecommunications satellites and virtual reality.
4. Innovation. It shows the nature of creative processes and the way in which different problems can be solved.
5. Movement. Topics related to physics and the behavior of the universe are discussed.
6. Zone I. This room focuses on the discovery of intelligence. The proposal of Zone I is based on the innovative Model of Multiple Intelligences of Psychologist and Pedagogist Howard Gardner.
